Prouvé Collection

Vitra has been manufacturing Jean Prouvé furniture since desde 2001. In collaboration with the family and the designer Hella Jongerius, the range of colours has now been adapted for all its products. The discreet hues are nevertheless in keeping with the times, and so the Prouvé classics acquire an appearance filled with freshness. In addition, the Prouvé tables are available with new table tops in sold wood and with the Solvay Table new life has been given to a table design with a wooden base created by Prouvé.

Wing

Bolon

As a novelty for the year 2013, Bolon is launching Wing, a tile that allows architects and designers to combine several of the collections of the house and give them a totally new air. Wing, which forms part of Bolon Studio, multiplies the interior design possibilities of spaces of any size. Its markedly architectural character elegantly interacts with the interior design elements and construction details. The results are surprising: the new format revitalises all the collections and gives them totally new characteristics, particularly when combined together.

In order to showcase some of the possibilities offered by Wing for different public spaces, Bolon has worked with the prestigious Swedish stylist Lotta Agaton on a series of expressive installations that use the new tile format in a varied range of hues and interpretations.

The focus of the project, which is entirely in aluminium, is represented by the union between extruded shelves and pressure-cast risers, in the central and finial versions, which thanks to their exclusive design define the system’s aesthetic. The principal characteristic of Wind is the connection between the platform and the vertical elements, characterised by rounded lines: a design that in its purity is capable of combining geometric rigour with formal knowledge of great originality. Available with panels in tempered glass, fitted with an exclusive fixing device and in a wide variety of finishes, which means additional customisation possibilities.

Gandía Blasco

A project inspired in fashion that extrapolates to the world of furniture the concepts and techniques employed in textiles. The union of the pieces that form the collection is achieved through a system that simulates the stitching of a garment. Teso

Foster+Partners

Molteni&C

Foster+Partners presents a coffee table in completely unusual shapes. The structure is achieved by perforating a round steel sheet with laser engravings, then stretching it to produce a three-dimensional solid. The Design Team has experimented with several templates in order to achieve solidity at the same time as a geometric, distinctive design. Teso is available in brushed steel, brushed brass or painted in bronze. The result is the creation of a solid in a complicated shape where lightness and solidity attract and captivate right from the start. Functionality is guaranteed by extra-light transparent glass table tops (Ø 120) that permit admiring the complexity of the structural shapes from any observation angle.
