Maison et Objet September 2017

NOV/2017

The most relevant design and decoration firms on the international scene in the extensive field of decoration came together in September at Maison et Objet Paris to present the latest novelties in decoration, design, furniture, fashion accessories, textiles, fragrances, the children’s world, household wares and the latest technology.

In addition to current and future trends, the trade fair offered visitors a series of parallel activities—conferences, itineraries and prizes—plus a large amount of complementary contents through social media and the MOM digital platform (mom.maison-objet.com), which in the September staging celebrated its first year of life with highly positive results, with photos and specifications of more than 25,000 products and more than 1.8 million visitors.

Since 2015 the fair has been choosing a Creator of the Year associated with the session’s theme: a “product designer” profile in January and an “interior design” profile in September. Tristan Auer was the artist chosen on this occasion. Auer presented a space in Hall 8 that invited visitors to stop and have a rest: a central bar, surrounded by motifs that evoked the fascination the designer professes for the worlds of film and travel.

The next edition of Maison et Objet Paris will be from 19 to 23 January.
