Trade fairs

Cevisama 2017

With a total of 83,896 visitors from 148 countries (7.3% more than last year’s staging) the International Fair for Architectural Ceramics, Bathrooms and Kitchens, Natural Stone, Raw Materials, Glazes, Frits and Machinery returned to pre-crisis levels.

In the international domain the trade show again exceeded its own records of international buyers by reaching the figure of 16,772 professionals, representing 12.3% growth over the preceding staging, which had already set the internationalisation ceiling.

The fair also confirmed the strong reactivation of the national market, with a growing influx of Spanish buyers, 6%, to reach 67,124 records with a business profile (mostly retail establishments, distributors, commercial agents, buyer groups, manufacturers and professionals from the field of contract: architects, interior decorators and designers).

The fair’s commercial offering was complemented with parallel activities such as the Trans-hitos (Trans-Landmarks) exhibition, with the latest technology applied to ceramics, and the Ceramic and Bathroom Design Competition by CevisamaLab, the fair’s ideas lab which recognises the most innovative projects and which at this edition featured Gemma Tost, editorial and creative director of On Diseño, as part of the jury.
