In mid-February Porcelanosa Group staged the 24th edition of its International Show, the annual meeting that brings together large numbers of professionals from architecture, interior design and construction to present the major novelties of the group’s brands.

The 650,000 square metres occupied by the installations showcased the new kitchen displays (such as the models concealed in cupboards and extensible kitchen islands), sanitary facilities and bathroom fit-outs.

Prominent among the novelties in the bathroom section is the Tono collection, a designer project combining functionality and sustainability signed by Foster+Partners. The system comprises natural wood modules (maple, oak and walnut) and a series of elements (taps, countertops, mirrors, washbasins and baths in stone, ceramic or Krion, among others) in a minimalist aesthetic. Combined, they create personalised bathrooms with great personality, elegance and durability.

Another notable novelty at this edition was the presentation of K.Life, a new solid surface based on Krion Eco-Active technology which, based on photocatalysis (the properties are activated when light strikes the surface), adopts the following new properties: air purification, antibacterial, self-cleaning and elimination of chemical products.
