In the artisan’s skin

MAY/2016

In late April, a dozen artisan studios and ateliers opened their doors to the public. Over a two-day period visitors had the opportunity of practising as apprentices in workshops specialising in wickerwork, ceramics, cordwaining, chandlery, copperwork, embroidery, framing and tooling.

The Jack Honey Artisan Route was organizeg by JD Tennessee Honey, a distillery that remains committed to traditional making and the care of the production process, allowed us to discover professions that continue to use the techniques and tools of yesteryear.
