About the city

NOV/2014

What Ever Happened to Urbanism? Bigness (or problem of the large), the Generic City and Junkspace are the four texts by Rem Koolhaas which, having appeared in dispersed form, give shape to this book, which analyses the death of modern urbanism and the birth of a new one, without theory or architects, in a compilation of the general vision of the renowned Dutch architect who has become, since he published Delirious New York in 1978, one of the principal theoreticians and critics of the contemporary city, with numerous studies of cities such as New York, Atlanta, Singapore and Lagos among others.
