Extreme bioclimatic architecture

ON344-345 - JUL/2014

Through this book Luís De Garrido brings us a design methodology through which to achieve “extreme bioclimatic architecture”, making special emphasis on necessary bioclimatic architectural strategies.

It conducts an analysis of concepts such as “sustainable” or “bioclimatic architecture”, so greatly manipulated today to the point of almost losing its significance, and presents an architecture capable of thermally self-regulating itself thanks only to its design and without the need for technological artefacts, “extreme bioclimatic architecture” that consumes the least possible amount of energy and has no substantial economic surcharge, presented through some of the most recent and advanced buildings designed by Luis De Garrido.
